Adenike Davidson

Adenike Davidson is an accomplished academic and leader within the field of English and Gender Studies, currently serving as the Interim Dean of the College of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences at Delaware State University since July 2013. With a robust teaching portfolio that includes American Literature, African American Literature, Feminist Theory, Women's and Gender Studies, and Creative Writing, Adenike has also held significant leadership positions such as DSU AAUP Chapter President and Chairperson of the Board at Delaware Humanities Forum. Prior experience includes roles as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Scarritt Bennett Center and Professor at Fisk University, contributing to the Department of Arts and Languages. Adenike's academic qualifications include a PhD in English from the University of Maryland, an MA in African American Studies from UCLA, and a BA in English from the College of the Holy Cross.
