Dr. Francine Edwards

Dr. Francine Edwards serves as the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer at Delaware State University, where responsibilities include supporting the Chief Administrative Officer and Vice President of Human Resources, collaborating with stakeholders, and managing daily administrative operations. With a strong focus on academic leadership, Dr. Edwards has held multiple positions including Founding Dean and Interim Dean of the College of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences, overseeing strategic planning, faculty recruitment, and program development. Additionally, Dr. Edwards has experience as Chair of the Department of Communications and has held faculty roles as both Associate and Assistant Professor, teaching various public relations courses. Prior experience includes serving as a Producer and On-Air Talent for Black Entertainment Television. Dr. Edwards holds a PhD in Organizational Communication from Howard University, a Master's degree from Bowie State University, and a Bachelor's degree from James Madison University.
