Stacy Downing

Stacy L. Downing has held prominent leadership roles in higher education, currently serving as the Chief Administrator of DSU Downtown and Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Delaware State University since August 2013, after also holding the position of Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and Associate Vice President. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President for Student Affairs at Philander Smith College, where responsibilities encompassed various student support areas, and as Director of Student Activities and Leadership Development at the University of Cincinnati, overseeing numerous student organizations and programming initiatives. Downing's educational background includes a Doctorate in Urban Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati, a Master's in Criminal Justice from Xavier University, and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati.
