Alison Hastings has over 20 years of experience in urban planning and communications, currently serving as Associate Director of Communications & Engagement at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission since May 2003. Previous roles at the Commission include Manager of the Office of Communications and Engagement and Manager of Strategic Partnerships, as well as Senior Environmental Planner and Environmental Planner. Alison's early experience includes positions as a Research/Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania's Penn School of Design and an intern at the Association for Public Art and the New Jersey Historic Trust. Alison holds a Master of City Planning (MCP) degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University.
