Amy Verbofsky is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in developing and managing projects focused on community resilience and food systems. Currently serving as Manager of Healthy and Resilient Communities at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission since September 2020, Amy previously held the role of Food Systems Planning Associate, where contributions included authoring a report on challenges for new farmers and coordinating the Camden Food Economy Strategy. Prior to this, Amy worked at the City of Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management as Recovery Planning Coordinator, successfully managing FEMA funding requests after disasters. Additional experience includes work with the Philadelphia City Planning Commission and the Office of Housing and Community Development. Academically, Amy holds two master's degrees in City Planning and Public Administration, along with a bachelor's degree in Architecture, all from the University of Pennsylvania.
