Andrew Svekla, AICP, serves as the Manager of the Office of Smart Growth at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) since November 2009, focusing on planning studies related to transportation, land use, environmental protection, and economic development in Greater Philadelphia. In addition, Andrew is an Adjunct Professor at Temple University, teaching the "Integrated Transportation and Land Use Planning" course. Previous roles include Urban Planner and Designer at A. Nelessen Associates, Inc., GIS Analyst at M&M Solutions, LLC, Senior Systems Integrator at America Online, Inc., and Program Assistant at the ICMA Center for Performance Measurement. Andrew holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from The George Washington University.
