Brian Carney

Brian Carney, Jr. is a Planning Data Specialist at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, where responsibilities include assisting planning teams with technological solutions and developing data-oriented solutions through collaboration with subject matter experts. Previously, as an Economic & Demographic Analyst, Brian led projects focused on economic development and immigration, utilizing Python for data analysis. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, a Policy Solutions Intern at the Reinvestment Fund, and various internships with organizations such as the Philadelphia Housing Authority and Tacony Community Development Corporation. Brian holds a Master of Arts in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Saint Joseph's University.
