Mel Musie is an experienced environmental planner currently working at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission since March 2021. Prior to this role, Mel served as a Water Quality Assistant at the OKI Regional Council of Governments, where responsibilities included revising the 208 Water Quality Plan and managing point data for the Ohio River Recreational Trail. Mel's background also includes an internship at the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, focusing on transportation and land use, and a graduate student internship at UC International, supporting study abroad programs. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Site Coordinator at Bearcats Academy, Green Venue Manager for the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon, and Environmental Field Trip Facilitator at the Civic Garden Center. Mel holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies, both from the University of Cincinnati.
