Thom Stead

Assistant Manager, Office Of Mobility, Analysis, And Design at Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission

Thom Stead is an experienced professional in urban planning and mobility, currently serving as the Assistant Manager in the Office of Mobility, Analysis, and Design at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission since January 2015. In addition, Thom is an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy since September 2023. Previous positions include a Graduate Intern at WXY Studio, an intern in the Office of Transit Development at the New York City Department of Transportation, and a Graduate Fellow at the Pratt Center For Community Development. Thom also interned in the Office of Bicycle and Pedestrian Planning at the New York City Department of Transportation and served as an Advocacy Intern with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. Earlier experience includes being a Fulbright Fellow with the U.S. Department of State. Thom holds a Master of Science with Distinction in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Earlham College.
