Katie Hosey

Katie Hosey currently serves as a Business Liaison at the Delaware Workforce Development Board since February 2023. Previously, Katie worked as a Data Analyst at Zarango, focusing on website traffic data to develop outreach strategies for an organizational learning startup. As a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health from May 2020 to August 2022, Katie contributed to data analysis, project management, and participant outreach within the Genetic Basis of Mood and Anxiety Disorders Branch. Katie's early experience includes multiple research assistant roles at the University of Virginia, where responsibilities involved examining synaptic plasticity in fruit flies, administering cognitive assessments to participants of various ages, and conducting a field experiment on eyewitness memory. Katie also completed a Data Science Internship at V&A Waterfront and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience from the University of Virginia. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics & Policy at The Johns Hopkins University, with an expected completion in December 2025.
