Kent Vickerman

Kent Vickerman has had a long career in the medical device and healthcare industry. Kent began their career in 1992 as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Allina Hospitals & Clinics, where they performed clinical assays to support patient care and evaluated and implemented new assays. In 1994, they moved to PDL BioPharma as Senior Manager of Quality Control, leading a GMP quality control group and establishing performance goals and metrics for the group. In 2007, they joined Genmab as a Sr. Technical Specialist, collaborating with the process engineering team and increasing efficiency by implementing new processes. In 2010, they became the Director of Quality at American Medical Systems, providing technical guidance and leadership for elements of the AMS quality system. In 2015, they moved to SurModics as Director of Quality, leading the Surmodics Quality organization and overseeing product development, purchasing controls/supplier quality engineering, operations quality engineering, software quality engineering, metrology, quality control chemistry, and microbiology/sterilization validation. Finally, in 2019, they joined LABORIE as Sr. Director of Quality Affairs, and in 2022 they moved to Delcath Systems as Sr. Director of Quality Assurance.

Kent Vickerman earned a B.S. in Medical Technology from St. Cloud State University between 1991 and 1992. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from St. Cloud State University between 1987 and 1991.
