Mark Peterson has held several positions in the security industry throughout their career. Mark began their career at Chubb Security Services in 1996, starting as a technician before transitioning into a sales role. While at Chubb, they led a sales team and utilized a team approach to win sales, specifically employing Spin Selling and Next Step techniques. Peterson also achieved success by winning several major projects in Western Canada.
In 2005, Peterson moved to Siemens Canada Limited - FSS Division, where they served as the National Business Development Manager. In this role, they were responsible for leading and overseeing the development and growth of the Integrated Security division. Peterson also maintained effective key relationships and managed the Security Division Sales team. Additionally, they provided strategic estimation and management of projects.
Since 2012, Peterson has been with Delco Security, where they currently hold the position of Vice President. In this role, they focus on integrated security solutions, including PSIM and Mass Notification systems. Peterson emphasizes the importance of customized solutions for these high-level systems, stressing the need for effective communication among all parties involved.
From 1996 to 1998, Mark Peterson attended Mount Royal College where they pursued a degree in Conflict Resolution with a specialization in negotiation.
