Thiago Azevedo

Thiago Azevedo has worked in the Renewable Energy industry since 2020. At Delfos Intelligent Maintenance, they held the role of Data Engineer, helping clients to monitor their operations, evaluate assets performance and predict failures. Thiago built and maintained ETL Data Pipelines orchestrated by Apache Airflow, and deployed and maintained workloads into a Kubernetes cluster. Thiago also held the role of Data Engineering Intern, delivering automatic KPI reports on a daily basis and designing Database structures on PostgreSQL. Additionally, they worked as a Machine Learning Volunteer Researcher with Télécom Paris and the startup PainkillAR, applying Machine Learning algorithms to classify human conditions from biofeedback measurements and Deep Learning techniques to automatically detect inhaling moments from breathing exercises recordings.

Thiago Azevedo completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceara between 2016 and 2020. Afterward, they participated in an Exchange Program in Data Science at Télécom Paris from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, they obtained Astronomer Certifications for Apache Airflow Fundamentals and DAG Authoring for Apache Airflow. Finally, in 2022, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
