Christian Louter

Christian Louter is currently a Professor of Structural Design & Building Engineering at Technische Universiteit Delft, specializing in the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Geosciences. Louter has a longstanding role as Co-Organiser of the Challenging Glass Conference since 2008 and serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Glass Structures & Engineering journal at Springer Nature. Previous academic positions include Professor of Building Construction at Technische Universität Dresden and Assistant Professor of Structural Design at Delft University of Technology. Louter's research background includes post-doctoral work at EPFL and a PhD from Delft University of Technology, where the dissertation focused on structural aspects of reinforced glass beams. Louter holds an MSc degree from the same institution, graduating with honorable mention.
