Gijs van Den Brekel

Gijs van den Brekel is currently serving as a Student IT Desk Medewerker at TU Delft since October 2022, providing technical support and guidance in software installation and troubleshooting. Prior to this role, Gijs worked as a Bijlesdocent at Luzac from November 2021 to October 2022, offering academic assistance in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Gijs contributed to the non-profit organization Stichting Heart to Handle as a Bestuurslid from September 2021 to September 2022, participating in a fundraising cycling event. Additionally, Gijs has experience in youth administration and coaching at Hockeyclub Naarden from September 2013 to June 2018. Gijs is pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering, Applied Earth Science at TU Delft, scheduled for completion in 2026, following a Bachelor's degree in Applied Earth Science obtained in 2023 and other educational pursuits in innovation and materials science.
