Klaas Kroes

Klaas Kroes is an experienced professional in export control and compliance, currently serving as an Export Control Consultant at TU Delft since January 2022. Prior to this role, Klaas worked at Fokker Aerostructures B.V. from October 2010 to January 2022, where responsibilities included training and advising on EU/NL export control regulations and related compliance issues. Previous positions also include Security & Export Compliance Support Officer, providing guidance on military projects and US-export regulations. Klaas's career began at Rhenus Logistics as a Customer Support Manager in aerospace and defense logistics from January 2001 to October 2010, and earlier experience includes working as a loodsmedewerker at roadair from 1997 to 2001. Educational credentials include a master’s degree in history from Leiden University and studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Delft University of Technology.
