Rutger van Bergem

Rutger Van Bergem serves as the Co-Founder and Co-Director at IBEX Lab, as well as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer/Researcher in the Economics of Technology and Innovation at Delft University of Technology since December 2019. Prior to this, Van Bergem founded Catalaxy and held multiple roles at CodersTrust, including Science and Blockchain Lead and Chief Scientist. Early career experiences include positions as Chief Scientist at B2B Liquidity Network and various academic roles at George Mason University, where a Ph.D. in Economics was obtained. Van Bergem's educational background also includes advanced degrees in Economics, Systems Engineering, and Philosophy from prestigious institutions, along with experience as a rowing coach and analyst in different organizations.
