Abhijit Das

Abhijit Das has over 20 years of experience in retail, lifestyle malls, real estate, and marcom agencies. Abhijit started their career as a Management Trainee / Sr.Officer at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in 1997. Abhijit then worked at 141 Sercon as an Assistant Manager - Client Servicing from 2000 to 2002, where they established event-based channel management and marketing programs for leading brands. From 2002 to 2004, they worked at Fountainhead Communication as a Manager Business Development- Bangalore, where they developed integrated marketing communication solutions for various brands. Abhijit then joined Kempfort Retail Limited as a Manager Marketing in 2003 before moving to Ansal Properties & Infrastructure Ltd. in 2004 as an Additional GM - Mall Management. At Ansal Properties & Infrastructure Ltd., they spearheaded business, asset, and marketing operations for 5 operational malls, significantly scaling up the revenue. Currently, they are working as the Head of Marketing at Delhi Duty Free Services, where they have been since 2010.

Abhijit Das has a diverse education history. In 1990-1994, they attended Central School where they completed their Schooling with a focus on Science. From 1994-1997, they pursued Hotel Management at MSASH. Abhijit furthered their education by obtaining an MBA in Management, Marketing, and International Business from Fortune Institute of International Business during 1998-2000. In 2013-2014, Abhijit completed an Executive Development Program in Advanced Strategy Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Business Strategy from LinkedIn in 2022, and in New Technologies for Business Leaders from Rutgers University in 2018. Abhijit also engaged in further professional development at Cranfield School of Management in Leading for Growth & Situational Leadership in 2019, and at Rutgers University in Digital Transformation Process & Strategy.
