Dr. Amit Kumar Jain

Dr. Amit Kumar Jain, Ph.D has a diverse background in the railway industry. Dr. Amit Kumar has held various leadership positions within the Indian Railways, including serving as a Senior Divisional Operations Manager and a Joint General Manager for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. Dr. Amit Kumar also worked as a Senior Divisional Operations Manager/Coaching for the Delhi Division under the Ministry of Railways. Dr. Jain's expertise in operations and services led to him becoming the General Manager Operations for the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). Dr. Amit Kumar is currently the Director of Operations and Services for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.

Dr. Amit Kumar Jain, Ph.D has a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Dr. Amit Kumar then pursued a Masters of Technology in Foundation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 1998 to 2000. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Urban Transportation from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, between 2013 and 2017.
