Yaniv Bouhadana

Yaniv Bouhadana has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Yaniv is currently working as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Grasshopper Labs and also holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Deliveright, starting from 2021. Before that, Yaniv worked at Citi, where they served as a Technical Lead from July 2019 to December 2021 and as a Senior Software Developer from March 2017 to December 2021. Prior to Citi, Yaniv was employed at SwitchBee as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked on real-time programming for ARM architecture and developed new devices for home automation and smart house technologies. Yaniv also worked as an Android Programmer, implementing new features for the SwitchBee Android app from November 2015 to February 2017.

Yaniv also has experience in research and development at the Bar Ilan Institute for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (BINA), Bar Ilan University. Yaniv was involved in developing new research tools for energy, solar cells chemistry, and nanotechnology. Yaniv also served as a DBA, designing and developing the main MySQL database for collecting and analyzing study results from January 2011 to November 2015. Additionally, Yaniv held the role of Teaching Assistant at Bar-Ilan University, where they assisted in various chemistry and MS Office courses during their MA and PhD studies. Yaniv also conducted research on water desalination via electrostatic adsorption on porous carbon for their M.Sc and PhD.

Earlier in their career, Yaniv worked as a Project Manager and Real-Time Programmer at Orziv Ltd, where they managed projects for various companies such as Tana (Tami4), Nilimedix, Ionmed, and Military Industries.

Yaniv Bouhadana has a strong educational background in the field of science and energy. Yaniv started their education journey in 2003, receiving a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Biophysics from Bar-Ilan University. Continuing their studies, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Chemistry, with a focus on Electrochemistry, from the same institution, which they successfully completed in 2007.

Yaniv then went on to further advance their education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry, specializing in Electrochemistry, from Bar-Ilan University in 2011. During this time, their research likely delved into advanced areas of chemistry, particularly in relation to electrochemical processes.

After completing their Ph.D., Yaniv Bouhadana continued their academic pursuits by becoming a Post Doctoral Fellow at Bar-Ilan University, focusing on Renewable Energy. This four-year period, from 2011 to 2015, provided Yaniv with the opportunity to explore the application of their chemical expertise in the renewable energy field.
