Burak Takmaz

Burak Takmaz is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and architecture across multiple industries. Currently at Deliveroo since March 2022, Burak serves as a squad technical lead, focusing on fraud application development using Golang and collaborating closely with Data Science and Machine Learning teams. Prior experience includes roles at Wise, where Burak developed payment integration applications and public-facing APIs using various technologies such as Springboot, Kotlin, and AWS, and at Daiwa Capital Markets, where Burak led projects involving microservices, Java, and Python for financial data applications. Earlier roles at Finastra and Gantek Technologies involved development and integration of software components, API design, and team mentorship. Burak holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Galatasaray University and has a background in C/C++ development from TUBITAK.
