Emre Ovunc

Emre Ovunc is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in application security, penetration testing, and red teaming. Currently serving as a Senior Application Security Specialist at Deliveroo since April 2022, Emre conducts vulnerability assessments and security testing to identify and mitigate potential risks. Prior roles include Red Team Engineer at Picus Security, where advanced cyber threats and attack techniques were developed, and Security Project Leader at Innovera, overseeing penetration testing operations. Emre's career began as a Cyber Security Engineer at HAVELSAN, conducting comprehensive penetration tests, and included academic contributions as a Network Security Lab Assistant at Izmir University of Economics. Emre holds a Master's degree in Information Security and Digital Forensics from the University of East London and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Izmir University of Economics.
