Kamil Akcay

Kamil Akcay is an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in software development and team leadership within the tech industry. Currently leading a team of nine full-stack engineers at Delivery Hero since April 2023, Kamil ensures the effective development and maintenance of various applications. Previously, Kamil held multiple roles at Solaris SE, including managing product-driven backend engineers and contributing to BaaS solutions and PCI compliant products. With a history of creating B2B and B2C solutions at Joonko and developing web-based banking applications at TEB, Kamil has demonstrated expertise in agile methodologies and microservices. Kamil holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Ingenieros en Informática from Istanbul Arel University and University of Deusto, respectively.
