Andrew Fausak

Andrew Fausak is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in GPU-based solutions, AI/ML research, and protocol development. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer in the Office of the CTO at Dell since December 2018, Andrew focuses on video processing, machine learning techniques, and video compression technologies. Andrew's prior roles at Dell include serving as a Protocol Scientist, responsible for RDP development globally. Earlier positions include Senior Director of Product Architecture at DemiEnergy/Asoka USA, where Andrew raised venture capital for green computing designs, and Chief Applications Architect at Wyse Technology, contributing to enterprise managed solutions. Andrew's career began at American Insurance Computers as Vice President of Engineering and Co-Founder. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from San José State University, along with a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of North Texas.
