Jason Rock has extensive experience in hardware design and engineering, with significant roles at prominent technology companies. Starting as an Associate Hardware Engineer at Savi Technology in 1996, Jason progressed through positions such as Hardware Design Engineer at Nortel Networks and Samsung, and Applications Engineer at Cicada Semiconductor. Between 2004 and 2011, Jason served as an Ethernet Technologist at Vitesse Semiconductor, before joining Silicon Labs as part of the IoT Solutions team from 2011 to 2018. Currently, Jason holds the position of Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Dell, where responsibilities include leading the hardware architecture for networking communication solutions in the PowerEdge server portfolio and contributing to the OCP NIC group while defining future AI, 5G RAN, server, networking, storage, and edge solutions. Jason Rock earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997.
