Ramesh Periyathambi

Ramesh Periyathambi is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and machine learning, currently serving as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff and Sr Director at eBay since September 2010. Ramesh leads initiatives to enhance developer productivity using Gen AI and improve the reliability and performance of the continuous delivery pipeline. Previous roles at eBay include Principal MTS Architect, where Ramesh designed machine learning projects able to scale for significant traffic, and Senior Member of Technical Staff, focusing on CDN and server-side caching solutions. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Software Engineer at DXC Technology, providing Java/J2EE development for various clients. Ramesh holds an MS in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a BE in Electrical & Electronics from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering & Technology.
