Vikas Kamath

Vikas Kamath is a data scientist and business analytics professional currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Dell Technologies, where they lead analytics, metrics design, reporting, and machine learning model development. Previously, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist and an intern at Dell EMC, addressing system performance issues and developing predictive alert policies. Vikas has also contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, teaching data analytics and visualization. They hold a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a Master's in Operations Research from the University of Texas at Austin. A sports enthusiast, Vikas enjoys following the NBA and participating in fitness activities during their free time.
