Zakia Sultana

Zakia Sultana is a seasoned data science expert with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a Data Science Lead and Principal Data Scientist at Dell Technologies since November 2020, Zakia leads analytics projects within the Decision Sciences Analytics team. Previous roles include Data Scientist at IBM Watson Health, where contributions involved designing computational techniques for healthcare data analysis, and Visiting Data Scientist at Northeastern University, focusing on unsupervised clustering techniques for patient cost identification. Zakia's earlier background includes postdoctoral research at MIT on computational models for nuclear reactors, research and teaching assistance at the University of Toronto, and a lecturing position at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
