Marcus Beal has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Marcus started their career at Pepco Holdings, Inc. in 2004, where they held various roles including Systems Engineer, Project Manager, and Lead Project Manager in Business Transformation. In 2013, they transitioned to Pepco Holdings as a Media Relations Manager and later became Manager of Media Relations. In 2018, they took on the role of Manager of Business Planning and Regulatory Compliance. In 2022, they joined Delmarva Power as the Region Vice President for Governmental and External Affairs in the Delmarva Power Bay Region.
Marcus Beal holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Delaware. Marcus has also obtained a certification in Leading Strategic Growth from Columbia Business School, which was completed in 2023.
