Anna Thoran is an environmental engineer with over eight years of experience in environmental consulting and project management. Currently serving as an Associate Director in Energy and Climate Advisory at Deloitte, Anna leads strategic projects focused on decarbonisation and energy transition for industry and government clients. Previously, Anna worked at GHD as a Project Manager for Emergency Spill Response, where they coordinated environmental emergencies in Western Canada. Anna also completed significant research as a Research Assistant at Centro De Estudios Avanzados De Blanes, investigating seagrass carbon sequestration. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Systems Engineering from The University of Western Australia and completed a course in Energy Economics and Policy at MITx on edX.
