Caroline Calov Funch

Caroline Calov Funch is an accomplished professional in the actuarial field, currently serving as the Head of the Nordic Actuarial Practice at Deloitte since January 2017, with responsibilities spanning Denmark, Norway, and Finland. As a Partner in Actuarial, Risk & Advanced Analytics, Caroline has held various leadership roles, including Director and Senior Manager, and has extensive expertise in Advanced Analytics, IFRS 17, and IFRS 9 (Impairment modelling). Prior experience includes roles at AXA, where Caroline developed strategies for Individual Protection, and at Skandia and Danica Pension, focusing on actuarial sales management and business development. Caroline’s academic background includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Copenhagen, complemented by previous experience as an actuarial student at Swiss Re.
