James Conroy

James Conroy is a Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience in technical accounting, financial governance, and financial instruments. They began their career at Deloitte South Africa as a Trainee Accountant and later held various positions at firms including Attacq Limited and Absa Group, where they focused on equity investments and financial reporting. Currently a Director at Deloitte, they advise clients on complex technical matters related to treasury and capital markets, bridging the gap between technical accounting and strategic decision-making. James holds multiple degrees from the University of Pretoria, including a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics.
