Sam Padgett

Sam Padgett is the Managing Director and Head of Private Equity Origination for Asia Pacific at Deloitte, where they manage key relationships with global and regional private equity firms. In this role, Sam focuses on delivering comprehensive service offerings to general partners, limited partners, and portfolio companies. Prior to joining Deloitte in 2023, they spent over a decade as an investment banker at Barclays, providing M&A advisory and financing support for prominent private equity transactions. Sam graduated cum laude from Middlebury College with a dual major in Chinese and economics and earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where they were an Edward Tuck Scholar. They are fluent in Mandarin Chinese and have completed various internships related to management and business development.
