Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy is a Partner in Tax at Deloitte Canada, where they have worked since 2021. They are a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a U.S. Certified Public Accountant, specializing in cross-border personal income tax compliance, consulting, and planning for Canadian and U.S. clients. Prior to their current role, Sean held various positions at Deloitte from 2012 to 2021, including Senior Manager, Tax, and Manager, Tax. Sean began their career as a Staff Accountant during a co-op placement at Bass & Murphy Chartered Accountants LLP in 2004. They earned a BMath and MAcc from the University of Waterloo, completing their studies in 2007.
