Will Penney

Will Penney, CPA, CA, is the Director of Audit & Assurance in Newfoundland and Labrador at Deloitte Canada, where they provide assurance services to a diverse array of clients in the public company sector. With a solid foundation in accounting from their Bachelor of Commerce degree obtained at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Will has amassed extensive experience at KPMG, serving in various roles from Senior Accountant to Senior Manager, prior to their current position. In the past, they have engaged with multiple financial reporting frameworks, including ASPE and IFRS, and have contributed to numerous special engagements, including accounting advisory projects and municipal reviews. Will also actively volunteers as the treasurer for the O’Brien Farm Foundation, where they support evolving initiatives while upholding the organization's mandate.
