Amit Sarker is a seasoned indirect tax professional with over a decade of experience in indirect tax consulting and industry roles. Starting as a Finance Officer at ITI Ltd., Amit progressed through various accounting and management positions at BOC India Limited and Reliance Industries Limited, before joining Pricewaterhouse Coopers India as a Manager. After several impactful years at Deloitte, where Amit was elevated to Partner, they continued to solidify their expertise in indirect tax and customs at Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP until 2022. Currently, Amit is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Burdwan and a course on Leadership and Change Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore.
