Daniel Caruana is the Tax Director at Deloitte Malta, having joined the firm in 2007 after earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (Hons) from the University of Malta. Caruana has progressed through various roles in tax compliance and has been involved in mergers and acquisitions projects. They currently lead the Corporate Direct Tax Compliance function and the Transfer Pricing team, while also serving as Chairman of the Malta Institute of Taxation's Domestic and Compliance Committee. In addition, Caruana has lectured at both the ACCA and the Malta Institute of Taxation.
