Howard Byrd is currently the Managing Director of Deloitte’s Government and Public Services contracts team, where they lead a global team responsible for comprehensive contracting capabilities. With over 25 years of Federal Acquisition experience, Howard has developed expertise in operational and major systems acquisition, as well as policy development. Prior to joining Deloitte in 2012, Howard held various positions within the United States Air Force, culminating in a role as Director of the Office of Contracts Policy. Howard earned a Master’s of Science in Strategic Purchasing from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Virginia Military Institute.
