Howard Ptak

Howard Ptak is a Managing Director in the Multistate Tax Services practice at Deloitte Tax LLP, where they provide compliance and consulting services in the Private Equity sector of the Investment Management industry. With over 15 years at Deloitte, Howard has specialized in state and local income taxation, focusing on large tiered structures and advisory partnerships. They have also played a key role in process improvement and the development of proprietary tools. Prior to their tenure at Deloitte, Howard worked as a Lead Tax Examiner at the Internal Revenue Service for two years. Howard earned a Master’s Degree in Tax Law from Northwestern University School of Law and holds a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington.
