Ian Miles

Ian Miles is currently a Tax Director at Deloitte, where they leverage their extensive experience in managing tax functions for large multinational retail businesses. Previously, as Head of Tax at ALDI, Ian led the UK & Ireland Tax Team, devised comprehensive tax strategies, and collaborated with senior leadership to prioritize tax initiatives. Ian holds both the Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) designations, and possesses significant expertise in Corporate Tax, International Tax, and Tax Governance, developed over years of experience with various roles in the tax field, including positions at EY and Next. Ian graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham and completed their chartered accountancy training with ICAS.
