Markus Holzner

Markus Holzner is a PhD candidate in Genetics at ETH Zürich and currently works in M&A at Deloitte. They have previously held positions at Roche, where they contributed to significant cost savings through project analysis, and at the University of Oxford, where they developed novel anti-cancer compounds in collaboration with industrial partners. As a board member at the Institute of Molecular Health Sciences, they advocated for over 100 PhDs and PostDocs, while also organizing networking events. Markus has published multiple papers and presented at international conferences, demonstrating a strong commitment to research and education in STEM fields.
