Michael Degulis

Michael Degulis is a Principal and the office practice leader of Deloitte Tax LLP’s Boston Multistate Tax Practice, focusing on state income/franchise and sales/use taxes, particularly within the Investment Management industry. With over 17 years of experience at "Big Four" accounting firms, they have been with Deloitte Tax since 2006, where they also lead the national multistate M&A Competency Group and support jurisdictional technical and controversy matters in several states. Michael holds a BA in Applied Economics from St. Anselm College, a JD from Boston College Law School, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. They have also served as an adjunct professor at Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management, teaching state taxation classes.
