Alina Fichter

Alina Fichter is a seasoned media professional currently serving as a Manager at Deloitte since August 2023. Fichter holds the position of Karl-Bücher-Gastprofessorin für die Zukunft des Journalismus at Universität Leipzig and has been a Senior Advisor and Advisory Board member at NewsGuard Technologies since April 2019, where Fichter played a pivotal role in launching the organization in Germany. Prior to these roles, Fichter was the Head of Digital Format and Product Development & Innovation Lab at Deutsche Welle from February 2020 to July 2023, and a member of the Chief Editorial Staff at ZEIT ONLINE from February 2018 to August 2019. Additional experience includes work as a consultant and journalist at Bayerischer Rundfunk, participating as a John S.
