Deborah Butts

Deborah Butts is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public sector consulting and security advisory roles. Currently, as a Manager at Deloitte since May 2020, Deborah focuses on Major Programmes for the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office. Prior to this, Deborah served as a Security Advisor for the Chios Eastern Shore Response Team, enhancing operational security for refugee relief efforts in Greece. Deborah's background also includes a consultant position at Atkins, where contributions spanned security, cyber transformation, and education reform projects. Additionally, Deborah has significant experience in corporate social responsibility and documentary film production, having initiated various philanthropic programs while serving as Corporate Social Responsibility Manager and Film Producer at Resident Advisor. Deborah holds a Master’s Degree in Climate Change: Environment, Science and Policy from King’s College London and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London.
