Jim Thomson

Jim Thomson is a seasoned professional in the Power & Utilities industry, currently serving as a Principal at Deloitte Consulting since April 2008. In this role, Jim leads the Smart Metering & Smart Grid activities within the U.S. and oversees Deloitte's Global Smart Grid Community of Practice. Prior to Deloitte, Jim held principal positions at Capgemini and PwC, and served as a Managing Consultant at IBM. Jim's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a dual degree from Purdue University, earning both a Master's and a Bachelor's in Computer Science.
