Candace Barron is a seasoned journalist and communications strategist with over 20 years of experience in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as the Chief Storyteller for Government and Public Services at Deloitte, they craft story strategies that highlight the innovative support provided to governments and educational institutions. Candace has previously held roles at Boeing, Amazon, and various newspapers, where they have demonstrated expertise in media relations, crisis management, and editorial leadership. Additionally, they are passionate about empowering people through clear communication and advocating for Indigenous causes while contributing to the perpetuation of their Native Hawaiian culture. Candace is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism at the University of Arkansas, a Master’s degree at The George Washington University, and a certificate program at 島根大学.
