Cristopher Wood has an extensive background in cybersecurity and communications planning, beginning with a degree in Bachelor of Science from Purdue University (1999-2003) and a Master's degree from Colorado Technical University (2005-2006). Wood served in the United States Air Force from August 2011 to August 2013 as a Communications Planner and later as Deputy Chief of GPS IT Modernization. From June 2007 to August 2011, Wood was with the National Security Agency as Deputy Chief of IT Capability Development. Subsequent roles included Chief of Cyber Operations Training at Headquarters, US Special Operations Command (August 2013 - June 2016), Chief of NC3 Cybersecurity at Air Force Global Strike Command (June 2016 - June 2020), and Operations Center Watch Officer/Chief of Cybersecurity Operations at United States Space Command (June 2020 - November 2021). Currently, Cristopher Wood is a Cybersecurity Specialist Master at Deloitte, starting in July 2023.
