Edward Venter

Edward Venter is a highly experienced professional in the field of financial risk management with extensive expertise in credit risk modelling, IFRS 9, and data assessment and analysis. Since July 2015, Edward has held various positions at Deloitte, progressing from Assistant Manager to Director, specializing in low default portfolio PD modelling and market risk modelling. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Lecturer at Stellenbosch University, where Edward facilitated a statistics module, and completing internships at Deloitte and Old Mutual focused on credit risk and enterprise risk management, respectively. Edward holds a Master of Commerce in Financial Risk Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Mathematical Sciences, both from Stellenbosch University, along with other relevant educational credentials.
