Ian Miles

Ian Miles is a Tax Director at Deloitte, bringing extensive experience in leading tax functions for multinational retail businesses. Previously, as Head of Tax at ALDI, they developed and implemented the UK & Ireland Tax Strategy and compliance framework while managing a team of eight. Ian has a strong foundation in Corporate Tax, International Tax, Tax Accounting, and Tax Governance, complemented by their qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. They also held various tax advisory roles at EY and Next, showcasing their depth of knowledge across diverse tax matters. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham and has completed their Chartered Accountancy and Chartered Tax Advisor qualifications.
