Jim McDonald

Jim McDonald is the U.S. National Tax Practice Leader at Deloitte, where they provide consulting and tax compliance services across various industries. They have been with Deloitte since 1988, starting in Buffalo, NY, before relocating to Canada in 2002 and moving to Toronto in 2017. As a member of the Canadian Tax Executive Team, Jim has transformed the cross-border tax practice into a national entity, advising clients on tax structuring, financing into the U.S., and M&A due diligence. Jim holds both a BS and an MS in Accounting and Taxation from Canisius College and has a background as a veteran of the United States Navy.
